P.S. 254 Queens is a 3K - 5 magnet school.

As a Magnet School we can accept all students.  You do not need to live in our attendance zone to apply!

Magnet status lets us accept direct applications for grades 1 - 5.

For 3K, PreK, and Kindergarten, follow the NYCDOE Kindergarten Enrollment Process.

Parents of three-, four-, and five-year-olds should follow the NYCDOE Kindergarten Enrollment Process.

All NYC families with can apply to 3-K for All when the application process opens.

 

 

Applying for Grades 1 - 5

For grades 1 – 5, contact us at 718-520-7878 for a Magnet School application.

We accept applications from all students in grades 1 – 5 within the New York City DOE. 

First priority is given to students living within our zoned area.

Transportation

If you are applying from outside our zone, you should be aware that we are not able to provide transportation.  However, our school is easily accessible from the J/Z train line, and city buses.
